Meet the Team

Fiona Hatton

Fiona Hatton
CEO

I grew up on the Isle of Man and, after 18 years living and working overseas, my family and I were delighted to return to the island in 2022. During my international career, I have lived and worked in several countries around the world and led not-for-profit organisations, global teams, and complex programmes across more than 20 countries.

Working in close partnership with governments, UN agencies, grassroots organisations, and international charities has given me a deep appreciation for what can be achieved when people come together with a shared sense of purpose. I hold the strong belief that each of us, in our own way, can make a meaningful difference.

I have worked across a wide range of causes, including supporting victims of human trafficking, people living with HIV/AIDS, providing psychosocial support to young people in conflict settings, and delivering palliative care in under-served countries. I am motivated by strong organisational missions and values, using resources responsibly, and combining the smart use of data with human kindness to achieve the best possible outcomes.

I feel deeply privileged to serve as CEO of Hospice Isle of Man. It is an organisation that holds a special place in the hearts of so many islanders and one that, in my view, truly exemplifies compassion, professionalism, and unwavering care. I am proud to lead a team and community of supporters who work hard to ensure that individuals and families across the island receive the highest standard of support when they need it most.

Governors and Trustees

Our Board of Governors and Trustees oversee and direct the affairs of the charity, ensuring that it is well run and delivering the charitable outcomes for which it is established. Board members and Trustees are appointed on the basis of their experience, expertise and community involvement as well as for their commitment to, and passion for, the Hospice’s work.
