What items can be donated?
To ensure your donation raises the most money for Hospice care, we ask that all items are clean, complete, and in good condition.
Clothing & Accessories: Quality ladies, mens, and kids' wear, shoes, and handbags.
Home & Bric-a-Brac: Kitchenware, ornaments, clocks, and collectibles.
Entertainment: Books, vinyl, video games, CDs, toys and complete puzzles.
Furniture: Sofas, tables, and wardrobes (subject to condition and safety checks).
Damaged Goods: Items that are torn, stained, broken, or incomplete.
Legal Restrictions: Weapons, sharp knives, or items without fire labels attached.
Smoking limitations: we cannot accept items from smoking households.
Large Appliances: We generally cannot accept large "white goods" (fridges/washers).
It costs Hospice thousands of pounds every year to dispose of items that are broken or unsellable. By following this guide, you ensure that 100% of your donation’s value goes toward providing specialist care on the Isle of Man
