You don’t have to carry this alone
The emotional and practical challenges of living with a life-limiting illness can feel daunting and overwhelming. It is incredibly common to find it difficult to express your emotions or to talk openly with friends and family about the challenges you are facing. Often, patients tell us they want to protect their loved ones from their worries.
Please know that these feelings and anxieties are perfectly normal, but there is no need for you to cope alone. Sometimes, talking to someone who is not a family member or a close friend can be a massive relief and a great help.
