Funeral collections in lieu of flowers

Many families choose to support Hospice by requesting donations at a funeral or memorial service instead of floral tributes. It is a meaningful way for friends and family to honour a loved one while making a direct impact on the care we provide here on the Island.

If you are arranging a funeral and would like friends and family to donate to Hospice Isle of Man instead of a floral tribute, we can help in the following ways.

Contact us at fundraising@hospice.org.im or call 01624 672222 for support with donations in memory of your loved one.

We recommend using JustGiving or Enthuse to reach friends and family further afield. These platforms provide a secure way to process donations and track your progress in real-time.

Notifying the Family

When donations are made in memory of a loved one, we write to the next of kin to let them know the total amount raised in their honour. This is often a great source of comfort to families during a difficult time.

Your Privacy (GDPR)

To respect your privacy, we can only share your name with the next of kin if you give us your explicit consent.

If you are happy for us to share your details: Please let us know this when making your in-memory donation. This is a specific question in our online donation website form.

To give permission now: If you have already made a donation and would like us to pass your name on to the family, please call our team on 01624 672222.
