Communication Skills: Advanced
This course was very out of my comfort zone but at the end I realised how beneficial it was with lots of feedback from the class to develop my communication skills further.
A role play based course to enable senior registered professionals who encounter complicated scenarios to practice advanced communication skills to support people.
At the end of the course I will be able to:
Show empathy to encourage people to express their thoughts and feelings
Increase confidence to effectively communicate with persons with complex needs
Assess the responses to information and check understanding and respond appropriately
Communicate honestly and sensitively
Respond to difficult conversations

Attendees must be able to attend both scheduled sessions
You must have already attended a Communication Skills: Intermediate
Pre-course workbook will be supplied
Attendees are asked to bring their own specific scenarios to discuss and will be expected to participate in role play
