Hospice-influenced care in the community
We believe that everybody deserves the best quality end of life care no matter where, so temporarily relocating our services to Southlands in Port Erin enabled us to make significant changes to our Hospice at Strang unit with minimal disruption to our patients. We have expanded some of our community services, such as Hospice at Home and during the pandemic, we have been able to ‘road test’ those services to the maximum. We plan on ‘moving home’ to your state-of-the-art Hospice later this year which has been made possible by the generous support of local investment firm, Tevir Group. Upcoming events
Throughout the year, we will have themed afternoon teas in Elaine’s Café. Further information can be found here. We provide range of themed savoury and sweet treats, plus hot drinks. Both our Christmas and Valentine’s themed afternoon teas were thoroughly enjoyed by those who attended.
