Light up a Life attracts hundreds to service
We were honoured to welcome hundreds of friends & relatives of loved ones to our Light Up A Life event on Sunday! With thanks to everyone who has dedicated a light to their loved one, to our Hospice Choir for their wonderful performance, Douglas Town Band for supporting and everyone else who was involved that made the service happen.It was a poignant and beautiful ceremony, where we all came together in the Hospice garden to celebrate and remember the lives of those we love. Our lights represent a beacon of hope which can be seen for miles around and will remain lit throughout the Christmas period into the New Year.If you would like to donate to Light Up A Life and remember a loved one please visit

Throughout the year, we will have themed afternoon teas in Elaine’s Café. Further information can be found here. We provide range of themed savoury and sweet treats, plus hot drinks. Both our Christmas and Valentine’s themed afternoon teas were thoroughly enjoyed by those who attended.
