Special Olympic GOLD for shop volunteer!
We just wanted to say a massive congratulations to our Onchan Shop volunteer, Karl Monaghan!
Karl has recently returned from the Special Olympics with a bronze medal for ten pin bowling and was also placed 5th in the pairs.
As well as this, Karl was both nominated and short listed for the 'Disability Sportsperson of the year' for the Isle of Man Sports Award which he took much pride in attending earlier this year.
We couldn't be more proud to have such an incredible athlete in our Hospice Family, who is enjoying his volunteering role tremendously.
