Temporary closure of our coffee shop
To protect our patients, staff, volunteers and the general public, we have temporarily closed our coffee shop at Hospice at Strang from Friday 20 March.
The temporary closure will have a huge impact on our ability to raise vital funds towards the care we provide to patients who are terminally ill or have life-limiting conditions. We provide these services completely free of charge.
We know that our coffee shop is a safe haven to so many of you in the community, particularly in these uncertain times, and we continue to closely monitor the current situation.
But we still need your support so we can continue our important work in the local community.
Every year we need to raise over £4.5m towards our annual running costs and you can continue to support us in other ways such as making a regular monthly donation. By doing so, we can continue to be here for those who need us, now and in the future.

Upcoming events
Throughout the year, we will have themed afternoon teas in Elaine’s Café. Further information can be found here. We provide range of themed savoury and sweet treats, plus hot drinks. Both our Christmas and Valentine’s themed afternoon teas were thoroughly enjoyed by those who attended.
